ABC Consultants Pty Ltd was appointed to assist the principal structural engineer in the design and documentation of this 25‐storey residential building. The building has been designed such that most floors contain only a single occupant, ensuring that this building will become an icon in the region. As this building is primarily a luxury apartment block, ABC Consultants paid considerable attention to the design of the floors to ensure the deflection was tightly controlled. In addition, the building is particularly close to the ocean and therefore careful consideration was paid to the durability of externally exposed concrete.
